Fragrant front garden
Less than a week ago, this garden was a disgrace. It was overgrown, full of weeds and basically looked like the garden that no-one ever loved.
Corin spent pretty much all day on Sunday, and then another couple of hours this evening digging up, planting new shrubs and plants and basically making it into a front garden that we're no longer ashamed of.
We've gone for fragrant - Eucalyptus tree, lavender, Bay, Rosemary, Oregano, Majoram, Angelica, Fennel, Lemon Balm and Mint. Fortunately, both Corin's parents are horticulturalists, so he knows what he is doing (containing the mint for example). There's also some heathers and other alpines, plus a couple of miniature conifers.
See Mum - I wasn't fibbing!
Back garden next - thats a bigger job - think I might have to help with that one!!!
