The thing about a prime lens that I'm discovering (as well as the great DOF that f1.8 gives you) is that it forces you to think and to move to get the shot you want rather than just zooming in.

Hopefully that will make me think more about the framing of shots I take ... I'm considering taking the other lenses out of my bag and having a 50mm week next week.
