Goons for Hire.

Jack and Sawyer like this spot in the kitchen for two reasons.

1) It's sunny and therefore warm.

2) It's in the prime position for people watching. Atop the fridge they are just high enough to have a good view of the counters and potentially unguarded food, however they are not so high as to struggle getting down in a flash to snaffle said food.

In this picture I think they look like goons. You know...The kind you hire to beat up people who have wronged you. Jack looks especially evil (He's the one who looks like a friesian cow for those who don't know)!
