People on a Bridge

And so it goes

As you may remember from here, I live next to a construction site. Whatever I may think about the appropriateness of the building and construction type, I am begrudgingly impressed with the speed of construction. First came the gray masonry stair and elevator shafts, then the steel framed part, followed by the crappy light wood construction pieces. If I were to guess, the metal framed parts will host common spaces, while the wood framed part will be dorm rooms.

If the typical order of things takes place on this site, the building will be torn down and replaced in 15-20 years, max. What an absurd (ab)use of resources.

PS. I backblipped an entry for yesterday.
