Past Life

These weights are from the olden days (when I say olden days I mean the 1980s). When I was a little girl my dad owned a grocery shop in our village. It was great - there was a huge cooked meat and cheese counter - in the days when 'delicatessen' was a dirty word (or at least an unheard of word) and olives were very exotic. These weights were used on old fashioned scales to measure out the goods.
