Bantry Hospital
Fionn (son #1) has been sick all day. As a type 1 diabetic it has more serious implications than than for most of us. Anyway he ended up being admitted to hospital with extremely high blood sugar levels. This is not the first time.
The local hospital is a real blessing and I have taken the lads there on countless occasions in their childhood with various breaks and fractures. One of them even got a fish hook embedded in his head once and had to have it cut out. ( Boy stuff)
It's small and friendly and I always meet at least one person I know whenever I go there. Outside there are a few peacocks always hanging about. They've been there for as long as I've been in Bantry.
There were redpolls and siskins on the bird feeder today. As soon as I get out the camera they all fly away. Nearly every time. I got one shot but it's very blurry.
