Celebration!!

Had some fantastic news at work today, have managed to score myself a bit of a promotion! Have been in the same role for the last two years and it really felt like it was time to try something new.

It's not definite when I'll start training up for it but knowing I'm going to be on the move has certainly lightened my mood!

So it was time to celebrate.........to a degree. I've still got to get up at 5 tomorrow for work.

Celebratory meals only come in one guise for me - a delicious rare rump steak and chips. I ripped off the chip recipe from Hugh Fernley-Whitinstall's veggie book. It has you grinding up Caraway seeds, Fennel seeds and all sorts but its absolutely gorgeous. A huge dollop of Horse Radish finishes it off nicely.
