Shoes

These are my two year old son's Buzz Lightyear trainers. They even flash when he walks, not that he pays attention to that silly gimmick.

They are special to me as once upon a time my 14 year old son would've loved these. I didn't notice when he stopped wearing child's character trainers and clothes in favour of sports brands; it just occurred to me one day that he was no longer a little boy. I feel sad as I took for granted how quickly children grow up and it's seems his childhood was over in the blink on an eye. Of course, at 14 he is still a child and he'll always be my baby but I miss that he no longer wants Buzz Lightyear trainers.
