Long Exposure

I took my lightweight tripod with me when I went out with the dog just in case the Northern Lights were on show, but they weren't. Instead I tried a long exposure of the stars in the sky and shone my torch on the foreground tree. A very grainy result but a starting point to begin learning more about this sort of photography.
