The harbour of Delfzijl

This evening I read on Twitter all kinds of messages that it might be possible to see the Aurora Borealis. So, together with Peter, we went to the Eemshaven, where we would have a wide view. We had no idea what to expect, but.......nothing happened, we just saw darkness and some stars.

Instead of going home we went to the harbour of Delfzijl and there we finally managed to make a few pictures. This one is of the dry docks. More here.
No Aurora Borealis, but nice light anyway and I realized it had been too long I'd been there.
