I.O.U knitting

So, if you've read my blip from last Friday, you'll know that I had hoped to finish the IOU knitted thing for my dad. Well...it's still not finished, but not through a lack of trying.

I'm using an alpaca yarn, which I used in the past, but not in this colour. There's dye coming off the yarn, making my needles sticky and staining my fingers. Thus, a project that should have taken a couple of days to complete has taken me weeks. I can only manage 2 rows before having to stop and clean the needles, and it's driving me to distraction!

My IOU expires at the end of the month, so I'll have to grit my teeth and get on with it. Let's just say I'll not be using that particular colour again...
