ILR

I've been waiting a long time for my ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) or UK settlement visa. It was taking forever and the worst part was being without my passport. I missed going back home to Aust for Christmas to see my family and was starting to feel anxious about my ski trip in March. The Home Office takes so long to process these applications; I really just wanted to know one way or the other and get on with my life! I finally got a hold of my documents back this Monday (after more than four months), and yes, it was successful so it was a good outcome.
