L'Empire De La Mort

Took the long hike underground today to the Catacombs in Paris.

After the long queue in the afternoon sun it was the ultimate extreme contrast. It was also refuge from the terrible couple in front of us who seemed to be having some sort of sponsored kiss-a-thon in public. Maybe they got a room as the saying goes.

The catacombs were impressive and quite an insight into life/death from around the revolution onwards.
