Having jumped in the car yesterday to drop Steve off at Heathrow it seemed so much easier to take the car to the station and then I missed out on my cycling.

Today I was back on the bike, putting up with puddles and damp and dark. Still, it was mild and I enjoyed my short journeys. This shot was taken (not on the move) on the final hill just over a mile from home.

The quality isn't great but I liked the atmospheric effects.

I had held out a faint hope that the amazing sights of the aurora borealis would be visible from the London area tonight but no such luck.
