Little and Large
For the last couple of days I've been rolling around in this beast! It's my brother in law's pickup. He likes big pickups. Very big pickups. He did a blip earlier today with his F250.
If our old SUV was big, this thing is an order of magnitude bigger. I could say that once you get behind the wheel it's actually quite small and easy to drive. Yeah - it's not. When you're behind the wheel, it's still huge. Which isn't a bad thing as at least you get to look down on everyone else. It demands a certain amount of care and precision when you drive it because of its size. I've no idea how fast it is, but it is incredibly powerful. Stick a 5 ton trailer behind this bad boy and it probably wouldn't bat an eyelid.
The other thing that's nice is that the panhandlers don't hassle you either. Years of substance abuse means they can't look up that high.
The only thing that's annoying is that we didn't use my pickup this week (which happened to be owned by my brother in law a few years ago). When I own something, I like using it for what it was acquired for, and Dog was acquired for this sort of stuff. So it's killing me that we haven't been able to use it yet. But that should be sorted in the next few days with any luck when the new title turns up.
