Southerness Lighthouse

Escaped The Veelage and headed for Dumfries today to collect the old Citroen from the bodyshop after repairs had been completed to the damaged sustained thanks to tree attacking it during the last big blow of Jan 3.

Decided to take the big camera with me and take a couple of pics along the Solway coast en route home, thought this was the pick of the bunch.

Surprised at how much it appears to lean as the horizon in this shot is dead level.

Enjoyable afternoon chasing the light on the way home as a half decent sunset for a change, normal service has been resumed as now chucking it down again and no hopes of any aurora sightings in this neck of the woods.
