WOW!

What an amazing first day!

Besides checking out two flats I got a chance to spend most parts of the day exploring the city with another couchsurfer which was simply amazing.

This city has so many facettes, smells, sounds, people, interesting sights, and contradicitons to it that I can hardly imagine to get bored here..I rather get the feeling that 5 months will not be enough to discover everything.

Also the place feels a lot safer than its reputation suggests. Using common-sense and following a few special rules and I should be fine.

I am sooo excited I cannot sit still :-)

I got soo many new impressions and information today that it did not even take me 10 seconds to fall asleep after this long and exciting day. Also my body has got to fight the jetlag (being quite successful at this I think), and get used to the pollution and the altitud of the city.
