LA Sunrise

This is how sunrises should be. California really does them well.

Checked out of the hotel this morning and set off on the drive to Las Vegas. It's a straight drive but pretty long through pretty unchanging desert. Interesting to begin with but once you've seen one Joshua tree you've seen them all.

Vegas is something else though. We rolled in after dark and that's probably the best time to arrive. It's like one giant neon sign; a real feast for the eyes. We checked into the MGM and got upgraded to one of their newly redecorated rooms. Really nice, very modern and exactly how you see Vegas in the movies.

Tomorrow we will be exploring the strip so expect that to be the subject of my blip. I reckon I might have a difficult choice picking just one photo.
