Go West!

C and I did a walk this afternoon and although the best of the sun had gone it was very mild and spring like. We passed the Folly in Cottingley Woods and emerged into the fields where a man was chopping up a branch of a tree that had obviously succumbed to the recent high winds.

I like the outcrops of rock in these fields and the trees that have randomly grown up around them - see corinthian column - here.

As we re entered the woods to walk towards Lee Lane and back to Harden, I spotted this glove on a branch. It just caught my fancy - it was pointing the way we had just come!
