An adventure - climbing to the top of Iisakkipaa

We had a wonderful climb to the top of Iisakkipaa today. It was not a picnic, climbing up took almost two hours. There was a snow path, but every now and then the snow gave in and my feet would sink in almost to the height of my my thighs. I enjoy pushing myself, it is part of the adventure.

The nature is magical here in Lapland, it is unique and pristine. It is all wilderness and there is no messing about. The temperature was about -14°C but up on Iisakkipaa there was a wind which made it very cold. I enjoyed our climb very much, it was just ******* epic.
