Preparing for the Wilderness

Bought a nice new rucksack today for my upcoming trip to St Kilda (remotest part of the British Isles dontcha know), where I'll be a field research assistant for the best part of 7 weeks. I don't leave til March but I might as well get a few things prepared...plus they had a nice extra 20% off the sale price, for one day only, so it would've been rude not to oblige.

My friends will laugh at the colour because apparently everything I own is a some shade of turquoise (if not purple) but there's no harm in being coordinated...even if it's mainly just sheep I'll be hanging out with on St Kilda!!
