Morris Dancers

After work I hurtled down to the next village to watch a visiting band of Morris Dancers. They weren't the white shirted, hankie waving brigade, with bladders on sticks and jesters - no, these were green and red, covered in tatters and weilding sticks! Great fun - we even got to join in. What made it even better was that it was a beautiful sunny evening, everyone was in holiday, end of the week mood and they were accompanied by a fab band of melodian players, a trombonist, a drummer and lots of tamborines!
