Decent pre-lunch activities of work, swimming, photographs and a chance encounter with shandonner along the canal. Followed by supervising two lots of primary-age children's homework (double maths!) after school that took, well, forever.

Just seen an article in today's Guardian all about a soundtrack that Leyland Kirby has done for a film adaptation of WG Sebald's 'Rings Of Saturn' - not overly familiar with that particular tome but sounds fascinating, any favourable reviews out there?

Kirby's triple album 'Sadly The Future Is No Longer What It Was' from 2009 was a particular favourite of mine on release. Here's a track that's pretty representative of his work.
