Music Hall

Went to the Music Hall this evening, to see the opera La Traviata. It was terrific, wonderful scenery. This was the first time for many years that we'd been to the opera - since it happens during the summer, we're usually away. It was a packed house - makes a change from the Symphony concerts, which we do go to - we used to have season tickets years ago, now we usually go to about 4 to 6 a season.They're not usually that well attended, though it depends on the program of course.

Laura has gone away for the weekend, to visit a friend in Indiana, so we get a foretaste of what it will be like when she goes to university and we're "empty nesters"!
