TV Reception
I'm wanting my photo journal to be a reflection on how we live in 2012, so some of it is going to be a bit mundane.
Today I have a look at how we watch TV, at least in our household, in 2012.
Now that we have gone digital, we have access to Freeview, but as we receive our signal from a booster station we still don't get all the channels.
So, we use the old fall back of satellite TV. The dish was installed by SKY , but we are now using FREESAT, the free satellite broadcaster.
Note the Low Noise Box which collects the signal from the dish has four cables running from it. These feed two twin tuner receivers, allowing us to watch and record two programs on each of two TVs.
More on the receivers and tvs to follow later.
