Australia Day 2012

Such a great atmosphere in the city today, it's clear to see that all Australians are very proud of their country, but then again it is a really great country!!

I wonder why we don't have England Day?!

Also, quick note; Australia has a public holiday to celebrate the Queen's birthday, in England we do not! Can anyone explain - answers on a postcard please!
