Don't Stand in my Light

Willow Tit

We spent the morning at Rufford Park, looking for the white blackbird who lives there. We didn't find him ... he probably didn't like the weather any more than we did. The woodpeckers (lesser and great) were flirting with us, though, so it wasn't a wasted journey. Like Hansel and Gretel, we laid a trail of birdseed and were rewarded by luncheon guests in the form of nuthatches, bluetits, willow tits and robins ... the usual residents, but always good to see them.
