No Koalas

We have had a bit of blue sky today but the wind was bitterly cold. I had a little wander around the garden, there are a few bulbs starting to come through although I am not sure what they are yet......I will have to wait & see.

This picture is of our eucalyptus tree. We bought it when it was a young sapling & it is now over 8ft high. I love the colour & shape of the eucaluptus leaves & how they shimmer in the breeze. Apparently, accourding to my mum, if you put your ear to the trunk of a eucalyptus tree when it's raining you can hear the tree sucking up the water from the ground! Something that I have yet to try but I will let you know if it's true!
