Pink

A colleague came to the end of a three-year contract at the end of the year, so we had a lunch date planned way back before Christmas when we were going to give her a card and a present. We got her a Kindle and there was enough in the kitty to get a smart pink leather cover. As it was, she was poorly with a throat infection at the time and then away in Spain for a holiday so we finally convened today. Of course, it turned out that in the meantime she'd been given a Kindle at Christmas. Still, she seemed delighted to have have a second one and very pleased that the cover almost matched her nail polish!

Friends Tony and Isabel were across from Fife in the afternoon so we met up with them after work and went to Pizza Express together. It was nice to see them again.
