Orion

The Hunter - one of the first constellations I learnt to identify. The bright star top left is Betelgeuse and bottom left is Rigel. This is taken with a 50mm prime and a long exposure which is why the clouds are wispy.

If you aren't familiar with this guy the brightest star top left (Betegeuse) is his right shoulder and his left shoulder is lower. His belt is formed by three stars in a row which climbs from left to right and to the left hangs his sword. His legs are shown as a pair of bright stars - one being Rigel - roughly lined up with his shoulders, below his belt.
