Roses reprised

Some of you will realise that these are the same roses I blipped two days ago. They have reappeared today for the following reasons:

1. They are beautiful
2. The flowers have not keeled over yet (a rare event in this house)
3. Mum did not like the processing treatment in the first image. The roses were bought for her, so I decided to record them for her in a way she will like. (What a good daughter.....)
4. Completely shattered after staying up late and getting up early to do my homework for the photo class. We had another good class this morning - can't wait to try out the new techniques we learnt.

Class was great. Cake made by CS was amazingly scrumptious (and about 1000 cal a slice). U3A "Christmas" lunch was a happy affair, especially helping to celebrate MW's birthday and hearing how important friendship is to him.

To echo the end of his speech, "please raise your glass to friendship"
