...get me out of here?

We were fixing a broken sprinkler pune in a nursing home today. These are sad, sad places. The moment I walked in the door, a sweet old woman in a wheel chair tried to grab my hand and with a frail, pleading voice, kept asking, "can you get me out of here?" Took us nearly 7 hours to change out the piece of pipe. I never saw her again today but it made me think of how sad some of these places can be.
