A triptych of half

An amazing 6 course tasting menu with 6 wines to accompany (with the addition of a Tanqueray 10 & T, some canapés, a trio of amuse-bouche [not sure what the plural] and a sneaky extra cheese course incl. port), all finished off with a pot of tea (L) and a double espresso (me, who else) with some petit fours - raspberry, praline and salt caramel.

What can I say but thank you (you know who you are) for the most wonderful gift - we really did make the most of it with a 4 hour session at Martin Wishart where the very lovely staff must have been itching to kick us oot.

Oh, and we even bumped into an old acquaintance at the next table...what are the chances.
