Nature's wallpaper in shadows
When you live in a tent in Hawaii, you wake up with things like this on your wall.
I've been rousing around 6, when first light hits. I get myself out of bed around 7, eat a little brekky, and head out to weed the coffee field. It's coming along, slowly but surely.
When you've hit hour #5 of weeding and your clothes are filthy and your neck is killing you and the sun is blazing, you begin to understand why we started getting all herbicidal on our food. It feels good to come full circle, to appreciate the time and effort and quality that goes into sustainable food.
