Culture clash?

On the left the traditional tiles of the Languedoc and Catalunya that meet in the doorway a newer style in the next room, which was once the kitchen and is now our living room, and then a more recent meeting with a Turkish kilim rug. Clashes, maybe, but I like the differences, the marks of wear and age, the imperfections, the patterns....and all our walls are white!
