Between Courses

Today has been hot, hot, hot....... especially so since I had to do cooking and cleaning to be ready for my friends Jill and Peter coming to tea tonight.
It was good to see the house I love emerging from weeks of neglect.

In between courses, Jill retired to the patio for a fag, and Peter and I joined her, until the midges got too troublesome.
It was then I noticed that there was a sunset to photograph.
