This is the idiots guide how to blowdown a boiler.

3 months ago, I reported poor water and this would affect the boiler. Only after 6 weeks and salt consuption going through the roof that they took me seriously. The resulting TDS has probably damaged the boiler and it's workings.

I managed too re-programme the auto blowdown so that it's actually affective and now works. Anyhow, earlies are finished this week and I'm off out for a cider.

TDS? Meaning of TDS

N.B. Blowdown valves work the opposite way to normal valves. Get this right and you can't go wrong.
