Radioactive Clone Herbs
Banana Facts
Bananas are naturally radioactive. This comes from the fact that they contain relatively high amounts of potassium. Specifically, they contain Potassium-40, which is a radioactive isotope of potassium.
Nearly all commercial banana plants are perfect clones of one another and originate from one single plant from Southeast Asia.
Bananas don't grow on trees. Rather, they grow from a root structure that produces an above ground stem. The plant is specifically classified as an arborescent (tree-like) perennial herb. It is the largest herbaceous flowering plant in the world.
This means bananas themselves are classified as berries.

I got involved in a debate with a bunch of banana haters (see what I did there?) and felt the need to show some banana love, so here it is.
Bravo for bananas!
