Thank God those two days are over.
I've been head butted in the face twice spat at slapped in the face, bitten twice, all this from a class of four and five year olds.
A very physical two days.
I love my job but sometimes I do wonder how I get through the day and then come home to deal with Christopher aswell.
I told Rach how hard work has been so she was forewarned incase I snapped at her.
When Tony came home she asked could she run me a bath so I am lying here blipping and soaking my weary bones.

Had some good news yesterday following an on going complaint with Social Services.
In Dec 2010 we where awarded 14 nights respite in our local centre but got nothing last year because of the waiting list however they did give me some extra money in my direct payments for Christopher's PA to have him over night to give us a break so I booked a lodge at Ribby Hall for them to have a little holiday and give us a break.
Oh no we can't do that she's only allowed to stay in our house and we have to go away, anyway cut a long story short I took it up the line to the head of children's services and after some tooing and froing with emails in which I expressed how unhappy I was and threatened to take it higher we received a letter yesterday to say Christopher will start his tea visits in March.
I have always just accepted things and got on with it but when I look at other children and family's and see what theyve beengetting this past year I've thought enough is enough and from now on I am going to fight for Christopher's future and ensure that not only me and Tony but Rach gets a break and some decent nights sleep.

I'm going now to enjoy my soak. X
