Lucky

I went out for a walk around by my flat today. It's familiar territory as this is exactly where I spent the majority of my life, yet somehow it only hit me today how lucky I am to live here. I am 20 minutes on a bus in to the centre of town, and I am 3 minutes walk from the countryside. Lucky? I think so. Just look how many different directions I can go walking in... and this sign is only a 10 minute walk away! This walk has confirmed why I wanted to live here after leaving the wee isle. Thank you nature and Edinburgh.
