Hoover Dam

On the border of Nevada and Arizona sits the impressive Hoover Dam. The only problem with visiting the Hoover Dam is that when you are on it you can't see it; what I mean is, you can't see all of it so it's not great from a photographer's point of view. You do however get a much better view from the relatively new bridge alongside the freeway.

We left Nevada and the dam behind and ventured higher into Arizona and on to Flagstaff. Still plenty of snow by the roadside and a definite bite in the air. There's not much to do here and we've only stopped off to make the drive to the Grand Canyon tomorrow more palatable before we head south to the warmer Tucson desert.
