more good deeds
By Monday my energy levels had sunk without trace.
Having emerged unscathed from the clutches of Mt Kilimanjaro on Friday, I'd had 2 fairly busy days after that.
I was expecting to help the others to finish painting a classroom at Tengeru Primary School. I was just too drained to take that on in the heat. I did go along to see for myself, but just sat in the shade.
It was fun to chat with Janet (who had an exemption for other reasons) and the teachers, to watch daily life in a rural school, and to see the amazement on the faces of the little kids (many of whom - so I'm told - had never seen paint before).
The room looked great when we finished at lunchtime. Well done to those involved.
