Drought Affected Fairway

Woke this morning with a cramping gut and all that goes with it!!

Fortunately by early afternoon all seemed quiet so I tested the calm with a slice of dry toast and vegemite...stayed where it went so on with the day.

After Mother's nap we went out for a coffee and drove up on to Wilson's Drive to enjoy both the coffee and the view and, in my case, the fresh air!

Although we have had a reasonable amount of rain lately we obviously need a lot more as you can see from this image of one of the fairways at Chisholm Park Golf Course. One could imagine the crunch as one walked on burnt dry grass.

All so silly when parts of central Otago had up to 10mm of snow yesterday!!!
