Broadwater

Finally, we are on holiday! It seems to have taken all day to get here and after the stress of yesterday, we've all collapsed in a heap this evening. I think we will sleep well tonight!

It's miserable and raining at the Gold Coast. Michael and I went for a walk in the rain before it got dark. Our apartment is on the Broadwater and these odd trees with strange roots that are above ground are in the park in front of our building. They have strange fruit too that look like a mix of pineapple and tiny bananas in a bunch!

I'm just glad to be here. We've got an action packed week planned so hopefully the weather will clear up :)
