Squirrel shelf

The foxes haven't managed to knock down the bird/squirrel feeder for a whole week so it must be sturdy enough this time. I like the way the squirrels lean back against the main feeder pole. It's obviously a comfy feeding position.

Whisky can watch the squirrels from his cushion on the breakfast bar - cat TV. He spent his time today sleeping and watching squirrels from his cushion, which is also between Fred and me. We worked for 12 hours solid (on different projects) with only Whisky disturbing us whenever he thought he needed fed and a couple of times we watched with interest as he leapt off the cushion and stepped stealthily through the cat flap in order to discuss territory boundaries with ginger cat and white socks cat. Both cats seemed to get the message and left the garden.
