There's No Such Thing As a Bad Sunrise.

But this was one of the better ones.
Blippin' baltic so it was but we nearly missed it. We "slept in" until the back of 7am so by the time we got ourselves sorted and out the sun was only just below the horizon and these colours were starting to fade.
Later we took off to see if we could find any other blippable subjects e.g. geese, but that turned out to be a genuine wild goose chase. We did see some, but they were about three fields away and well beyond chasing range.
The family should be gathering soon for a big Saturday night dinner in honour of FD55's birthday. Hope she likes the cakes MaggieD has baked.
