Winter morning sunshine, New Bolsover

Sunlight catching one of the terraces at the model village built at the foot of the hill below Bolsover for miners in the 1890s. The smoke from one of the chimneys suggests something of the atmosphere of days gone by.

Dad and I went to visit the family in Bawtry this afternoon. Jessica is doing quite well, but there is still a wait of a few more days for test results. Thanks for messages of support, I had no idea it was the start of a long saga when she first went into hospital.....
