The Matthew, Bristol

An afternoon trip to Bristol, we walked up towards The Matthew and I took lots of pictures of bits and pieces on the ship, The Matthew. {we were not able to get onto it}

Mike told me that these are used for raising and lowering the sails and that they do have a name but he cannot remember it.

I did something that I would call anybody else silly for doing, I have 3 batteries for my camera and all 3 were low in charge, so a mega charge time is goinf on now! Thankfully they didn't die before the end of our afternoon!
