River Almond

I went for a long walk today as the weather was gorgeous and I was trying to put off doing housework. I ended up down by the River Almond where it runs past Livingston Village. The path was up in the trees and away from the river, but I decided to wander off it and pick my way through the undergrowth for a bit so I could walk beside the water.

I made a cake for a friends birthday this evening. It unfortunately had some bits fall off the side when I took it out of the tin, but it should still taste good. You can't win them all. :)
