European water polo championships

This afternoon we watched the finals of the women's European water polo championships.

This is a shot from the match between Russia (white caps) and Hungary (blue caps) for the 3rd place. Hungary eventually won (with only the slightest of margins).
We later saw Italy beat Greece in the final.

All in all a great sports day out! Initially we didn't even know the championships we so close (Eindhoven, NL). But Abbie and Pippa's trainer mentioned it to us (as he knew I used to play water polo) and we managed to get 4 tickets!

Tomorrow sees the finals for the men... tickets all sold out...
